Sai Yok National Park is 98 km. from Kanchanaburi, located in Amphur Thong Pha Phum and Sai Yok . The Park was designated on the 27th October 1980 as the 11th National Park of Thailand, with a total area of 500 km2. The park is mountainous, mostly limestone mountain runs on north-south axis. In the past, Sai Yok National Park is an area King Rama 5 used to visit and take a bath in a stream. Later, there was a composer, who composed a song describes the wonderful of Sai Yok Waterfall, the waterfall becoming famous. Topography is mountainous covered by mixed deciduous and dry evergreen forest with bamboo forest. Beside, there is a teak forest along the Kwae river side, habitat of many wildlife.
Dao Daung Cave
Dao Daung Cave is a famous and beautiful cave of Thailand discovered by Mr. Samlee Khuha in 1972. The cave is about 100 meters long and divided into eight rooms named after the appearance of stalagmite and stalactite, for examples, Comb Raya Room, Chedi Room and Jeeb Manfa Room.
Kwae Noi River
the river on western boundary of Thailand there are both rapid and sand beach.
Lawa Cave
is 20 km. from Sai Yok waterfall to the south. The entrance of the cave is narrow but bigger in side decorated by stalagmite and stalactite in several chambers.
Sai Tok Noi Waterfall
is the well-know limestone waterfall. It's located on highway 323 (Kanchanaburi-Thong Pha Phum), we can visit there easily by bus or train. This roadside cascade is best visited between July and September, when water is most plentiful.
Sai Yok Waterfall
is the waterfall of which water flows to Kwae Noi river, located in the Headquarters. The head of the river is situated in the forest in Erawan National Park. The visitor can view and appreciate the wonderful waterfall during a trip.
