The Park is located in the Sai Yok, Sri Sawat and Amphur Thong Pha Phum . Beautiful natural features abound including waterfalls, hot springs, caves and an island studded reservoir. The Park was designated in 1981, and has a total area of 1,532 km2. The limestone mountains of the Park are covered in evergreen and deciduous forests, the origin of Kwae Yai River. Phra Cave Huai Mae Kamin Hot Spring are 2 hot springs suitable for bathing. Huay Mae Kamin Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. The stream separates into 2 channels and tumbles down 7 levels before flowing on to the upper Kwae Yai River in Khaoen Sri Nakarin. Nam Jone Nam Jone is the very beautiful water area located nearly close to the border of the dam in the north. Nam Tok Phatat is the most beautiful waterfall in Thong Pha Phum district. It is located on route number 323 and is surrounded by peaceful countryside. Neramit Cave is a limestone cave which looks like dome, it has many stalactites and stalagmites. Srinakarin Dam Scenery Traveler can travel by both to enjoy the very beautiful scenery on both sides of Srinakarin Dam for over 100 kilometers. |
