Thawee Watthana - Nakhon Chaisi

The areas we'll explore today are the west side of Bangkok and a part of Nakhon Pathom Province. Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!

We'll start from the Phetkasem end of Phutthamonthon Sai Song Road. Our Point A, the Lord Buddha Images Museum is about five kilometres or so up this road.

Just two hundred metres further from the museum, you'll find Thawee Watthana Road, a shortcut between Phutthamonthon Sai Song and Phutthamonthon Sai Sam, on the left-hand side.

Once you reach Phutthamonthon Sai Sam, go right for about two and a half kilometres and you'll find the Aksa Avenue which leads to Phutthamonthon Sai See and the Buddhism park that lends its name to all those roads mentioned.

After visiting the park, continue to Highway 338 (Pinklao-Nakhon Chaisi) and drive west. Stay on the left lane and go on for 3.5 kilometres until you see a side road which is a two-kilometre shortcut to Highway 3316. Head south once you're on the 3316. Don Wai market and Wat Rai Khing are that way down the road.

The other end of the 3316 meets with Highway 4 (Phetkasem). Go west on Phetkasem for about 11 kilometres, then shift onto Highway 338. After less than three kilometres along the 338 you'll find the Human Imagery Museum.

To get to the House of Museums, continue along the 338 until you find the big intersection where Phutthamonthon Sai Song is on your right. Turn left here and go on for less than two kilometres, then turn left again. Now you're on Thammasop Road.

Just 200 metres down the Thammasop Road, you'll see a soi called Klong Pho Song. The House of Museums is not far down this soi.

To get to the Bicycle House, retrack to Highway 338, drive further east and turn left onto Ratchapruek Road. Get off Ratchapruek when you see the exit to Soi Suan Phak. The Bicycle House is just 50 metres from the mouth of a sub-soi called Suan Phak Six.
